A Case of cryptococcal meningitis in an AIDS parient

Abstract
Cryptococcal meningitis is the most common life-threatening fungal infection of central nervous system in patients with AIDS, occurring about 6 to 10 percent of all patients in the United States. Untreated cryptococcal meningitis is uniformly fatal. We report a case of cryptococcal meningitis in patients with AIDS, successfully treated with amphotericin B.
